Campaign Brief
Cultural Stewardship at Scale: Orchestrating the Largest Lowrider Exhibition in Los Angeles History
Assembling the largest exhibition of lowrider vehicles and archival artifacts ever displayed in Los Angeles required a strategy rooted in both cultural reverence and high-level promotional precision. Recognizing lowriding as a sacred American art form forged in local Chicano and Black communities, I spearheaded an omnichannel marketing campaign that honored car club legends and cultural elders as true co-creators. By pairing authentic street-level storytelling with targeted LA advertising, and strategic PR outreach, we generated an impactful campaign that broke multiple interal records at the time.

Production & Execution
End-to-End Timeline Governance & Integrated Campaign Execution
I managed the cross-functional project timelines and asset production across all marketing channels to bring the exhibition's promotional strategy to life. My role centered on directing the design and deployment of digital performance ads, regional print media, dedicated member email lifecycles, and main-gallery web content. I spearheaded a narrative-first creative direction that prioritized authentic builder spotlights, off-site car club activations, and community-driven user-generated content (UGC) over standard promotional messaging. By aligning creative delivery with curatorial deadlines and off-site community events, I ensured every touchpoint, from physical activations to digital campaigns, delivered a unified, culturally resonant story.

Final Outcome
Cultural Stewardship Was the Ultimate Campaign Driver
Navigating an exhibition of this cultural weight required leading with absolute respect for the heritage of lowriding. I spent extensive time on the ground with builders, designers, and cultural educators to ensure we honored and amplified the personal narratives that truly mattered to the community. This deep investment in cultural stewardship built immense trust, driving an unprecedented wave of organic user-generated content (UGC) that naturally carried the campaign's momentum. Recognizing that community advocacy was generating higher engagement than traditional media buys, we strategically reallocated budget away from heavy paid acquisition and redirected capital directly into grassroots community events and activations, proving that authentic cultural alignment yields both operational agility and superior return on engagement.
